A new memory every monsoon
My best monsoon memories go back to childhood, when I spent a lot of time in my ancestral home in Naduvattom, Kozhikode. There were lots of canopy trees around the house that protected you from getting drenched, yet experience rain to the fullest. Over the years, I find that every monsoon makes way for new memories. I enjoy waking up to watch raindrops slide down the window, opening them to see the misty morning. Incidentally, my films Cocktail and Beautiful were shot during the rains. We didn't even use a rain engine for Beautiful, and natural rain adds to the beauty of the film.
