Kerala to be made all-season tourist destination


Unveiling a new tourism New tourism policy for Kerala announced today said the state would be made an all-season tourist destination by introducing schemes to attract both foreign and domestic travellers.


The target was to attract around 30 lakh foreign tourists and 180 lakh domestic tourists to the state in the coming years, he said, announcing the new tourism policy of the state government at a function here.


The state would be projected as a high-quality travel experience destination. Local communities would be given a prominent role in tourism promotion, he said.
